Did you guess what we made using an old CD, some card, decorative papers and embellishments? 🤔

The answer is... 🥁

💙 A Father's Day Card! 💙

Or, of course, a card for Dad that could be used for a birthday or any special occasion.

I recently made these with the children at Base Camp Education, and they were great fun to create. Each child was able to personalise their design, making every card unique and special. 🎨✨

If you'd like to have a go yourself, I'll be running this workshop at Mencap Hinckley Social Stars on Friday 5th June from 5pm - 7pm.

For those who aren't familiar with Mencap Social Stars, it's a vibrant, safe and supportive space for young people aged 9-16 with SEND. It's all about building friendships, discovering new hobbies, developing confidence and celebrating every milestone together. 💜

Using a paper plate, tassel, wool/yarn, embellishments and a paper fastener, we made... 🥁

🌙✨ A DREAM CATCHER! ✨🌙

This craft was a special request from one of the parents at Base Camp Education, and I set about designing this little beauty. 💜

I had so much fun creating it and finding ways to turn simple, affordable materials into something colourful and decorative. It's a lovely craft that encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and individual expression as everyone can make their dream catcher uniquely their own.

I’ve been helping a friend create some beautiful handmade stationery for her wedding 💍

After months of planning and preparation, we managed to create something really special at a fraction of the cost — and had so much fun along the way too! ♻️✨

This mini star scrapbook, complete with its matching box, was such a lovely project to make ⭐🎀

I could also run this as a mini workshop if there’s interest! It’s the perfect craft activity to enjoy around the dining room table with a few friends ☕✂️

We created these lovely little lighthouses using recycled and everyday materials at Base Camp Education ♻️🕯️

From old file dividers and paper cups to a Cornetto top and a battery tea light, it’s amazing what a little imagination can turn into! 💡✨

Our group had so much fun bringing a little seaside magic indoors 🏖️❤️

Who else is now craving ice cream and a trip to the beach? 🍦🌊
