OUR COMPETITION CORNER WINNER PAYS IT FORWARD….

In a world where sadly everyone seems to care less and less about other people and what they may be going through, it’s incredibly humbling to experience an act of absolute selflessness whereby somebody (who is themselves having an awful time at present,) still has time to think of others.

This may sound like a cryptic post (with anonymity fully intended due to the sensitivities involved) but as our Competition Corner winner for June was unable to accept her prize of these stunning flowers from Brontë’s Floral Designs due to personal reasons this month, they instead chose to ‘pay it forward’ to somebody that they knew was also facing an incredibly tough time right now.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to our Competition winner for showing such a huge amount of thoughtfulness in doing so and also to Bronte, who on learning the whole story, was only too happy to re-direct this delivery to an alternative recipient.

Sometimes our faith in humanity is restored and our cup overfilled with the amount of care that exists in our community when it really matters.

It’s very true to say that nobody really knows what goes on in other peoples lives and it’s so nice to see that we do in fact live in a community that looks out for one another when times get tough.

OUR COMPETITION CORNER WINNERS FOR MAY!!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone that entered our competition Corner for May! We received the most entries we have ever had for this one (making it even tougher than ever to choose just two winners!)

We’d like to congratulate Lauren Jones on being the winning recipient of the beauty treatments courtesy of Sarah Scoot Beauty and friends J&L for winning the prize of the bouquet of flowers for their incredibly deserving friend S (anonymity as these are a surprise!)

Both of our winners this month truly deserve something special and we hope that they both enjoy these lovely prizes. Thank you to those that nominated both our winners.
