I’ve been on an absolute designing rollercoaster lately

Still much to do, and many designs to tweak, but I thought I’d share these early samples to give you an idea of what’s to follow soon.

I know it’s sunny out there and no one really wants to think of autumn but……

Originally created for Mill End Hotel & Restaurant - Dartmoor, Devon in Dartmoor.

However I now have prints, which I’ll be dropping off to them later this week.

I’ve just spent THE most wholesome weekend at Rosemoor. It was their Garden Festival and the place was buzzing with happy folk enjoying the gardens.

This place really fills my creative cup with inspiration, but also joy and calm - and I cannot wait to return in 2 weeks time for my mixed media workshop.

There are just a couple of spaces available, but if you’re free to come along it’s a two day class over the weekend of 5th & 6th Sept.

It would be so lovely to see you.

So when you think you’ve blown your chances before you start - and it all turns out ok…..in the end!

So after weeks of prep, you arrive everything is looking lovely - all the stands around you are filled with epic goodies made by complete pros….. and then……
You realise your phone, which takes your payments, is nowhere to be found! 🙈

Oh boy! Don’t panic - nothing but lovely people around you so - it’s all going to be fine!

I’m super happy with bringing this artwork back to life - originally painted in 2018.
I’m finally cataloguing my own art and this deep dive into my archive has brought to life some previous work I had almost forgotten about.

This one has been used a lot over the years so never truly forgotten, but I’m just enjoying the artwork being used here in its simplest form.

The original has long been sold, but I hope these prints can bring some joy to a few more walls. I’ll be taking them to the RHS Garden Fair this coming weekend.

There’s lots of new stuff coming out of the studio at the moment. Re tweaking designs and finally cataloging 😬!

Excited to see them coming together, but oh boy getting them online is sooooo dull!

These ones will be online any moment now - but compare the original to the print - it’s a great copy.

Highlights of a lovely walk early yesterday. Snuck out while the clouds were still lifting and before the sun got too hot.

Feeling very grateful for this local space. I bumped into some wild campers - doing their Sun salutations!

A little insight into my current practice.
Cataloging & design updates.
Ok it’s not very glamorous but it’s essential, and I actually really enjoy working digitally.
The most exciting part for me is finally working towards my dream of selling to trade customers. So wish me luck as there is still much to be done. However months of behind the scene research, seems to be coming together. 🤞🏽
