Yesterday was another busy day in the workshop working on the seats of a land rover defender.

Here I'm sewing in fluted details to add a nice look to the upholstery as well as extra comfort when driving .

Once the covers had been machined they were then fitted to the bases using a rubber band which holds everything in place.

Hammering newly made leather upholstery is never much fun but the only way sometimes to finish the job!

Today im working on the headrests which will finish the front seats off meaning work can then start on the rear seats. ✅

headlining has begun on this 1960s landrover.

The last day or so has been mainly removing the old linings and cleaning up the roof.

This particular landrover is have off white headlinings, elephant hide door trims to match the original colour scheme and a new look seating in a oxblood red leather.

Elsing hall - Norfolk

This morning I visited Elsing hall to deliver some work for a client.
Whilst i was there I was kindly offered the chance to walk around the halls gardens which are opening this weekend to the public to view.

The hall dates back to 1470 .

I couldn't recommend visiting this weekend enough.

Lots of you will have seen this land rover driving around north Norfolk and beyond.

It arrived at the workshop this morning for some leather interior work.
