Leeds Repair Network on location! This time we're at Leeds Festival. Our tent is located near gate H, near the onsite Coop shop. Bring us your broken items and we'll do what we can to help. And it's PAYF or donations. Spread the word!

Thought I'd better tell you about the busy September I have coming up! Links and tickets are in the link in my bio or just drop me a line and I'll help you:

6 September - visible mending workshop for Horsforth Climate Action taking place at the fabulous stocked. - this is a funded workshop through Horsforth Town Council for Horsforth Climate Action and linked to the Green Festival later in the month (see 20 Sept below)

13 September - nature inspired freehand sashiko workshop, again at stocked. because they're great 😍 Tickets for this are through Stocked

20 September - I'll have a visible mending stall at the Horsforth Green Festival, next door to the wonderful Jax who will be demonstrating upcycling. Come along and have a go!

25 September - my last event of the month will be sashiko using templates at the wonderful M I S T A L on Otley Chevin. Tickets for this are through my Eventbrite link in my bio

Upholstery for commercial settings is different from domestic upholstery. The fire regulations are stricter, for one! The quantities and uniformity needed is another challenge. But for this job it was important to communicate and work with each other to get the job done without the clubhouse having to close at any point. They're such a centre of their community, hosting everything from music festivals to Dementia Clubs, summer cricket clubs for kids and even funerals. They've been an absolute delight to work with making it all easy breezy, and the feedback from clubhouse users has been great 👍
