I started Pyromania in a garden shed in 1981, restoring marble fireplaces. As this was much more fun than working in an office, I took the plunge and started a small business, restoring and installing traditional fireplaces. I have always taken customer service very seriously, as happy clients become your salespeople. It worked, and i bought my first shop in1985, and the shop next door in 1991. I'm still here and enjoying the work!"
Type of work - Installation of all traditional styles of fireplace, Georgian to 1920's, plus some modern /minimalist types; sales all types of fireplace both original and reproduction, including hearths; restoration of original marble and cast iron; gas conversion works and servicing; some small chimney works. Quotations, usually fixed-price, are made at the customers house, and are free, with no obligation or follow-up.
