Hi, I’m Jo 👋 If your new here, then welcome to my world of lampshades 🌿

I hand make lampshades from my studio in Hove under the name Lume Lighting. I make a variety of lampshades, as well as bespoke shades, recover old lampshades, and run workshops! It’s a job I absolutely love 🧵

I am so lucky to share my studio with the wonderful Martha of Martha Mitchell Design, and I genuinely couldn’t imagine it any other way ☕️

I also own Starling Studio, an art & craft workshop space in Fiveways, where I get to support a brilliant community of independent tutors and makers 🎨

Outside of work, my partner and I have been renovating our 300 year old cottage for the past two years. It has been quite the project but we are slowly getting there 🔨

And best of all, we back onto the most beautiful countryside, which means a walk in nature with this one everyday 🐾

That’s a little bit about me, so glad to have you here 💚
