Design Interiors Design Interiors create luxury and clever kitchen designs across Sussex. This was the home of Design Interiors until Hanningtons closed down in 2001.

Design Interiors was officially founded on January 26th, 1987 when Michael was able to base his newly created kitchen company in Brighton based department store Hanningtons. They moved to their Hove showroom shortly after, and two years later opened another shop in Haywards Heath. 14 years down the line in 2017, Design Interiors still operates from these two locations.

This contemporary kitchen and utility space was created as part of our client’s new extension, balancing sophisticated design with practical everyday living.
A bespoke banquette seating area creates a relaxed social zone away from the formal dining table — perfect for busy mornings, casual family meals and entertaining.
To keep the space beautifully streamlined, tall pocket door cabinetry was designed with bespoke internal storage to conceal everyday appliances whilst remaining effortlessly practical for the whole family.
The separate utility and boot room continues the calm, considered aesthetic with integrated seating, hidden storage and dedicated functional zones to support day-to-day family life.
