Today in the shop, surrounded by beautiful things and lovely conversations, my mind has kept drifting back to the tragic loss of the three girls in the sea this week here in Brighton.

I can’t stop thinking about how cold and frightened they must have felt, and how unimaginable this pain must be for their families and friends. It’s such a heartbreaking tragedy, and one that has really stayed with me today.

Life feels so fragile sometimes. Hug your people a little tighter tonight.

Rest in peace, beautiful girls. Thinking of everyone who loved you 🤍
