Spent most of the day refining a few different jug forms before settling on this one in 300g ,500g, 800g, 1kg, 1.2kg variations. Struggling with the spouts a little but feel these have a nice amount of lift to them on either side. Going to have to figure out handles for them tomorrow before decorating them with slip later in the week.

For the past month, I have been settling into life in Stoke on Trent, whilst getting to grips with being back in full time education at Clay College
Super excited for what the next two years has to offer and already so grateful for all my lovely new course mates and tutors.

I still have a few upcoming market dates (listed in my bio) where I’ll be bringing along work made earlier this year.

Moving forward, my page might look a little different! I’ll be focusing on learning, playing, and experimenting, and sharing snippets of that journey here. Our first project has been terracotta slipware, and I’ve been loving experimenting with monoprint and sgraffito techniques (check the last slide!).
Excited to see some of these fired next week. 🌸

Spent yesterday packing away stock and my market things for Endless Love Creative - Makers Markets later this month. It’s not for a few weeks yet but I’ve got lots going on between now and then. I’ve packed away a few of these matcha bowls and also some of these flower handled mugs. It’s such a lush line up, Endless Love Creative markets always are, but well worth a visit if you’re free! Hope to see you on the 26th!
