The yellow flowers are doing most of the showing off here, if we’re being honest 🌼

I only popped this little fox outside for a quick photograph and suddenly it looked as though it had wandered straight into its own tiny summer meadow.

The bright red wool against all the fresh greens and yellows felt too good not to share. One of those moments where the colours do all the work for you and the photo almost takes itself.

Also slightly pleased that the fox managed to stay upright in the breeze for more than thirty seconds. That alone felt like an achievement.

There’s a wonderful stage in wet felting where everything still looks loose and untidy… and then suddenly the fibres begin to bind together and a piece starts to properly come alive.

That process never gets old.

This upcoming Wet Felting workshop in Hunmanby is perfect for anyone who enjoys texture, colour, and traditional handmade craft. It’s a slower, very tactile way of creating, and people are often surprised by how relaxing and satisfying the whole process feels once they get started.

The table will be covered in beautiful wool, flowing fibres, warm soapy water, and plenty of inspiration for a creative Saturday together 🧶

There are currently 5 spaces remaining.

Meet our little Blue Whale 🐋

One of the newest additions to the Feather Felts collection and possibly one of the sweetest projects we’ve made so far.

Soft grey wool, tiny stitched details, and a lovely gentle shape that slowly comes to life as you felt along. There’s something very calming about making this one, especially on a quiet afternoon with a cup of tea nearby.

Each kit is carefully packed here in Yorkshire and includes everything needed to create your own handmade whale from scratch.

If you fancy a peaceful little project, you can find the Blue Whale kit on the website now 🤍

No experience needed at all. Just come along, settle in for a creative day, and enjoy learning the traditional process of needle felting in a relaxed small group setting.

There’s something rather lovely about a simple little Bunny made from wool 🤍

Soft ears, tiny paws, and that gentle handmade character that only needle felting seems to bring. This one has been carefully made by hand here in Yorkshire, slowly shaped from wool layer by layer until it started to come to life.

The quieter, traditional side of crafting will always be my favourite. No rush, no perfection, just making something thoughtful with your hands and enjoying the process along the way ❤️

If you’ve ever fancied trying needle felting yourself, there’s something very special about watching a little character appear from a handful of wool.

You can find more handmade felting and kits over on the website.

A tiny elephant peeking through the ivy this morning 🐘🌿

There’s something so lovely about photographing handmade pieces outdoors where they seem to come to life amongst the leaves and greenery. The soft wool textures, the gentle shape of those ears, and that slightly curious expression all feel even more special in natural light.

Needle felting has a wonderful way of slowing things down a little. Just wool, time, patience, and lots of tiny careful stitches with the needle until a character slowly starts to appear.

This little one definitely has plenty of personality already.

Not every Sunday needs to be busy.

Sometimes it’s enough to sit around a table with wool, warm drinks, good conversation, and the quiet satisfaction of making something with your own hands.

Our Floppy Dog needle felting workshop is coming up in Hunmanby, and these little dogs are full of charm from the moment their long ears start taking shape 🧶

Whether you’re completely new to felting or have tried it before, the workshop is designed to be relaxed, friendly, and easy to enjoy at your own pace.

There are now only 5 spaces remaining for Sunday 7th June.

I think every garden needs a small felted dog hidden somewhere amongst the plants.

Not for any practical reason. Just because it improves things.

This one ended up surrounded by ivy this morning and suddenly looked as though it belonged there permanently, sitting quietly in the sunshine with that hopeful sort of expression dogs always seem to have.

The warm brown wool against all the glossy green leaves was far too nice a colour combination to ignore. One of those simple photos where nothing complicated is happening, but it still makes you stop for a second.

Orange wool against that mustard yellow background was never going to be subtle 🦊

I’d only just finished this sleepy little fox before holding it up for a photo, and I still had bits of loose wool fluff stuck to my sleeves. That always feels like a good sign.

The curled tail ended up being my favourite part to make. It gives the whole piece that tucked up, properly asleep sort of shape, like it’s found the warmest spot in the house and no one’s convincing it to move.

Needle felting bright colours like this is oddly satisfying. The more the wool is worked, the richer and softer the fox seems to become.

A very cheerful bit of orange for the feed today.
