Your hallway and staircase are the first things people see when they walk through your door — yet they're often the last to get a refresh. That's a shame, because the right carpet can completely transform how a home feels from the very first step inside.

We recently fitted this beautiful striped carpet to the stairs and landing for a customer here in Huntingdon, and the result speaks for itself. Looking down the staircase, the neutral stripe in greys, taupes, and soft blue tones creates a rhythmic, elegant pattern on every step — classic, timeless, and full of character.

✨ Classic stripe pattern with a calm, elegant rhythm
✓ Neutral tones in grey, taupe, and soft blue — versatile and understated
✓ Made-to-measure and professionally fitted throughout
✓ Hardwearing and built for one of the busiest areas of any home

Stairs and landings take more wear than almost anywhere else in the house. Getting the flooring right there matters — both practically and visually.

If you're thinking about updating your staircase or landing carpet, we'd love to help. Pop into our showroom in Huntingdon and we'll guide you through the options. No pressure, just honest advice from people who've been doing this for over 30 years.

Privacy without losing the light — it's one of those design challenges we love solving. ✨

A customer came to us with a lounge that overlooked the street. They wanted privacy throughout the day but didn't want to sacrifice the natural light that made the room feel so warm and inviting.

Our solution? A beautifully layered window treatment using two products that work in perfect harmony:

✓ Two voile blinds, fitted neatly inside the window recess — softening and diffusing the light while providing gentle daytime privacy
✓ Two Roman blinds in blackout lining, sitting above — ready to be lowered for complete light control in the evenings, and adding an extra layer of insulation through the colder months

The fabric is from Ashley Wilde — a gorgeous lilac and silver textured pattern that's sophisticated and contemporary. It sits beautifully alongside the deep purple velvet sofa, tying the whole look together effortlessly.

This is the kind of layered, practical elegance we love creating — beautiful to look at, and genuinely useful every single day.

If you'd like to explore what's possible in your own home, come and see us at our showroom in Huntingdon. We'd love to help.

A new build in Wyboston, and three rooms waiting to feel like home. ✨

Three pairs of full-length curtains, handmade in Prestigious Textiles Seascape with a pinch pleat heading, hung on beautiful black metal poles chosen to complement the home's black window frames throughout. Every detail considered, every window finished perfectly.

This is why we love new build projects. A blank canvas, a conversation about what the home needs to feel right, and then watching it all come together. The curtains make the room.
