Condensation season is here... and if you’ve spotted water on the outside of your new windows, don’t panic. It’s not a fault.
It's actually a sign that you have high performance windows that are doing their job!
Anywhere else on your windows, and you have a problem.
Inside, water collects on the coldest surface in the room.
So, if you are regularly getting condensation on the inside of your windows, they are no longer performing.
That is unless you only see it when you are making your room hot and humid by cooking, showering, drying washing.
The useful distinction:
Water on the outside: good! Your windows are keeping your home warm.
Water on the room-facing surface? Usually a sign of bad performance.
Water between the panes? You have a seal problem and your windows.
If you have either of the latter 2, it's time for a replacement!
And we know just the right people to help 😉
