Three lorry deliveries today - phewee! 🚚 🚚 🚚 📦 📦 📦

Lots of you ask what we do with the empty plastic bottles that we refill your favourite things from 🤔

Well, they get returned to the wholesaler that we got them from ♻️

Today, all of these empties went back on the Suma lorry. They will sterilise them, refill them and send them back out to shops like ours so that we can keep refilling your bottles♻️

It's called circular recycling ♻️🌎👍😉

Well it's another weekend and we're looking forward to a day off tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who's shopped with us this week you have been amazing 😇

We haven't done a video for a long while so we thought it time. This week we discover what the money raised from selling the used stamps that you bring in to us has been put towards ... the link to our video is in the comments 👀👇

We learned today that we'd been the subject of a quiz question!

A lady came in to say that one of the questions in a local quiz had been "What is the current number of refills that we had done?" give or take 100 either way.

The lady was delighted to say she was able to quote the number dead on as she had passed our shop on the way to the quiz and looked in the window where it is always displayed!

Imagine that; us being a quiz question! Fame has reached us at last!

Apologies for my lack of posts over the past couple of weeks - too much on my mind 🙃

I have been working on our website, so it is a bit more up-to-date 👩‍💻

Today a lovely lady from the council popped in and presented us with our Heart of The High Street Award certificate which Stan was very happy to accept 🦜

Our new fridge has some new things in it ... well, they're not new actually; we've stocked it all before but they weren't great sellers then, and wasting food because it's past its date isn't something we want (or can afford) to do. But this is what you've asked us for again - so we're trying it again ...

Getting a second chance "trial period" in-store is:

pate - vegan
tofu - vegan
a GF and vegan yogurt alternative
halloumi with cow, goat and sheep milk

Remember though, just because it's not on our shelves doesn't mean we can't order it in especially for you. Many local businesses, organisations and indeed, customers bulk buy from us at wholesale prices - you just have to ask 😉

Hello 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

We've not been neglecting you with regards to posting daily; we've just not had anything to say! I know - very unusual eh!? 🤣🙊

Next Monday is the last local holiday of the year and as is traditional, we will be taking the day off. We shall enjoy a couple of autumnal wanders around the local area to get some fresh air 🍁🍂

Hopefully we shall have something to say tomorrow 🤔🤗
