For so many years Alan Jackson ran his shoe repair & key cutting service from his shop on the High street, which now hosts our studio. We are very sorry to hear that Alan passed away this week.

Brush & Breathe would like to convey our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Alan was a much loved and well known character in Ilfracombe, he will be sadly missed.

Exciting News from Brush & Breathe!

We're thrilled to announce that following our reopening, Brush & Breathe is looking to host a range of community-based groups that will be funded through a CIC (Community Interest Company). These groups will be in the form of short courses or activities running weekly for 4-12 weeks. The best part? They will be offered either without charge or at highly subsidised rates for all participants!

This is in the early stages of development, but we need YOUR input! What kind of groups would you like to see in our studio? Whether it’s art-related or something completely different, we’re open to all ideas. Maybe a mindfulness class, a youth club, nature awareness, photography or even a local history group, the possibilities are endless!

Drop your suggestions in the comments below, and let’s work together to create a vibrant community space that everyone can enjoy!

Help us spread the word by sharing this post! Together, we can make Brush & Breathe a hub of creativity and connection for all.

Brush & Breathe Update

Several people have been asking what's happening with Brush & Breathe studio?

Here's a quick update.

We are sorry about the current disruption to services. Unfortunately, we have had to temporarily close the studio due to some structural work needing to be completed. Some of our groups however are still running at alternative venues. We will keep you posted on these.

On a more positive note, there are some exciting developments happening in the background, which we hope will fascilitate the introduction of new community based groups to be hosted by Brush & Breathe. We can't yet give too much information about this, but we look forward to sharing this news as soon as we are able.

Please follow and share to keep informed about these developments.

Thank you so much for your continued support.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Unfortunately Brush & Breathe studio is temporarily closed due to circumstances beyond our control. Please note, we are working very hard to rectify this problem as soon as possible.

As a result of this, we have had to relocate Wednesday's planned NHS drop-in session:

"LISTENING TO EXPERIENCE. WORKING TOWARDS SOLUTIONS."

Thanks to Ilfracombe Salvation Army, the drop-in session will now be held at their premises. The address is: The Retreat, Torrs Park, Ilfracombe EX34 8AY.

We apologise for any inconvenience, but are very pleased that the event can go ahead as planned.

Please see the poster below for more details. It would be fantastic to see a good turnout for this community based event.

Thank you.
