Purplelux Lighting Solutions LTD have been involved in many Bat sensitive lighting designs over the past 5 years helping to achieve compliance and sign off from local authority. Purplelux Lighting Solutions LTD can help you to achieve compliance by using the latest tools and showing the lighting distribution from not only the external lighting but also from the light trespass from internal light sources. We utilise the correct light outputs, colour temperature and light sources. This is then illustrated in 3d design and lighting plots to help visualise the light distribution for your domestic dwelling or commercial property. The Guildhall in Barnstaple has been restored to it former glory. Purplelux Lighting Solutions LTD have thoroughly enjoyed working on this prestigious project revitalising this iconic Grade II* listed building. This restoration went ahead due to funding from Historic England via the Repair Grants for Heritage at Risk and the Government’s Future High Street Fund Programme via North Devon District Council. Our role included the design element as well as supply of new LED lighting to the facade and the restoration of the main light fitting on the corner, stripping the light fitting back and than having it restored and painted in its original RAL colour by Commercial Lighting Systems Ltd. Purplelux Lighting Solutions LTD have recently been involved with the specification and lighting design for this sports hall in Torbay. By removing the old fluorescent light fittings their is the obvious energy saving but we have also improved the quality of the light as well as the light levels. For this project we used a high output LED Light fitting with wire guard made from mild steel to achieve an impact rating of IK10 which is ideal for the sporting environment. The fitting also has Glare control to help in the play of Badminton. A fantastic project from start to finish with an excellent install by .fitzgerald

Purplelux Lighting Solutions LTD have won another project using purpose built light fittings to fit into the existing wall cut outs on this site in Somerset. Utilising new LED technology to keep those energy bills down. This fitting was built and designed from scratch to give true purpose to the word bespoke. A big thank you to .fitzgerald for there technical expertise!

Imagine a broken down Heritage light with broken glass and rusting parts with paint peeling, waiting for the end to come and then Purplelux Lighting Solutions LTD come along! We took this fitting away and had it sandblasted, repainted, new wiring, lamp holder and new glass installed. It is now back to its best and working nicely with the new LED lamps for a brighter and more sustainable future.

With just under one thousand light fittings changed this has been an exceptional project from start to finish. Over 30 different fitting types needed updating and changing to the latest LED technology with Dali and Empro to work alongside the existing Exor addressable Lighting control system at this Hospital in Somerset. were able to source supply and even have bespoke fittings made for the project by the always excellent .fitzgerald . With the brilliant working as our installation partner the project has been a resounding success saving energy and maintenance times along the way.

Another fantastic design and supply for this factory unit Devon. Purplelux Lighting Solutions LTD had to hit specifically high light levels for the new machinery and excellent colour rendering. This was achieved by using .fitzgerald Impact IP65 4K Low Bays.

Purplelux Lighting Solutions LTD are always looking to utilise our knowledge with regards to Dark Skies and Environmental projects. This project in North Devon needed particular care to keep the light within the boundaries and to protect the Bat corridors running adjacent to the site. By using Holophane Europe Ltd - Lighting Manufacturer post top and wall mounted fittings with 27k colour temperature and no upward light (for full Dark Skies compliancy) with exacting optics we were able to go beyond the brief. Another fantastic installation by James Electrics Contracting LTD followed and the results speak for themselves.

Purplelux Lighting Solutions LTD have been busy creating a full lighting plan for Exmouth Baptist Church. Using Hacel Lighting Soledo Downlight Bluetooth Dim 4k 22w White and Pebble Surface Bluetooth Dim 4k 9w White, which utilises Casambi excellent wireless lighting solutions. This has given the interior of this Heritage project a clean and aesthetically pleasing appearance with minimal disruption to the infrastructure. The system also uses wireless lighting switches to give the end user total flexibility with scene control and dimming options.

have been busy helping to commission this exciting and challenging Car Park project in North Devon. The 25 new Holophane Europe Ltd - Lighting Manufacturer 27k Denver ID Pole fittings with no upward light and Connected Controls utilising Bluetooth to set exact light levels and to dim to pre-set levels when the areas are not in use and then to turn off. The fittings running down the Bat corridor also have Back Spill shields fitted to maintain 0.5lx in this area. A great product setting the benchmark in the area. The installation by James Electrics Contracting LTD is at an exceptionally high standard and the excellent support by Matthew Walton Charlie Revell with the Project was greatly appreciated.

During the summer have been involved in many School relighting projects including this stylish project at Broadclyst Primary School. Using quality aesthetically pleasing lighting in the school environment to enhance learning and improve the energy efficiency of the site. Sensors have been used where appropriate with a greater emphasise on the original design intent for the building. are very excited by this recent design and instillation at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Swannage using ultra low wattage LED fittings with Bluetooth enabled Dimming controls by we were able to replace the existing hard wired system to not only save energy but to also enable grouping and scene sets for the end user. Utilising Hacel Lighting Infinitas continuous suspended fittings with their range of Soledo downlights and Breeze wall lights. A fantastic Install by the team at Luna Electrical Services.
