We have a lovely handwoven wool from Skye Weavers on the table today. I am just pressing it, and I have to admit I love the smell of damp wool. It reminds me of school when our duffle coats got wet and also of walking about Galashiels as a student..Happy Days! What unusual smells do you like?

I am absolutely delighted to have one of beautiful birds on my mantlepiece. She has some on display in at the moment, so while you have a chance to see them, do. The big birds are fabulous, I just don't have anywhere safe to put one. I am afraid my photo is not very good so go see.
