🎃🎃🎃Samhain blessings 🎃🎃🎃

Samhain 🎃 marks end of the harvest & transition into winter. It's the witches New year when the veil between the physical & spiritual worlds are at their thinnest. 🎃

Prepping my altar for Samhain tomorrow when I'll be honouring my ancestors & loved ones in spirit 🙏

I made smudge sticks out of dried rosemary, sage & mugwort to cleanse & dressed up my candles & ritual plate ready for some releasing of past pains & setting intention for the following year

Busy day today 😁 I wanted to go back to the park from the other day, I wanted more elderberries, this time to dry out for another time plus infused some in oil & some in alcohol.
I also wanted to grab some rosehip. These take a lot of prep beforehand, deseed and dry before I can infuse with oil or alcohol, plus have enough for another day 🤗 I also came across some crab apples, alder cones & oxe eye daisies, all dried for future use 😁

Just a few of the spoils of foraging in & around Inverness plus my own home grown herbs, flowers, fruit & veg from my garden 😀

Just some of the home baking I've been doing these last few months 😁. I'm still crafting away but enjoying baking & gardening alongside my home apothecary & spell work 🌻

Today I went foraging for elderberries to make some elderberry syrup ready for winter. Great for the immune system. Help prevent cold & flu, full of vitamin C & antioxidants.
