Looking for something a little different to keep the kids entertained over the October hols? ๐Ÿ‚

How about having a go at making these fun Halloween magnets using hot glue! ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ•ท๏ธ

Theyโ€™re so simple to make, and you only need a few things:

โœจ Youโ€™ll need:

A hot glue gun
Greaseproof paper
A pencil โœ๏ธ
Paints or pens ๐ŸŽจ
Blue Tack or magnets

๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ How to make them:

Draw your Halloween designs onto the greaseproof paper using a pencil.
Carefully trace over your designs with the hot glue gun.
Leave the glue to cool completely before peeling your designs off the paper.
Get creative and colour them in using paints or pens.
Attach a magnet to the back using the glue gun, or use Blue Tack to stick them to your fridge!

My son had lots of fun making these, and I think they turned out really effectively! ๐Ÿงก Theyโ€™re a lovely little activity to try at home, and a fun alternative to the usual Halloween crafts.

โš ๏ธ Safety tip: Hot glue can cause burns, so an adult should handle the glue gun and help with that part of the activity.

She asked for it to feature the Ochil Hills in Stirlingshire, along with the Wallace Monument, a Scottish flag and a thistle โ€” all meaningful symbols to remember him by.
