Happy Tuesday all!

We are home!

It was an amazing weekend, finished off with seeing a few more Heritage sites on route back yesterday, including Pevensey Roman Fort, 1066 Battle of Hastings and St Leonards Tower

Now back to work and getting ready for this Saturday's The Rupert Fison Square - Pop Up Shop Event

Happy Monday all!!

It looks like its going to be another beautiful day here in Hastings 🤗

Before we hit the road back to Ipswich, i thought i would get in some knitting 🧶

The yoke is complete and ive now split off the sleeves so i can work on the body during the car journey - we will be stopping off at a total of 8 heritage sites around the East Sussex area before a 2 hour drive back to Ipswich.. let's see how much knitting i can get done 🤗

Happy Sunday all!!

After a busy day yesterday, we took a very relaxing day exploring Hastings.

Using one of the trams, we went to see what's left of Hastings Castle, before enjoying the views (and a spot of knitting) on the West Hill view point and then wandering down to Old and new Hastings to do a bit of window shopping

Now back at the hotel to do some knitting before heading out for dinner 😋

Hot off the needles are a pair of top down vanilla socks (cast on 56) using personal stash King Cole Zig Zag 4ply in shade Lilac.

The pattern that I used was the James C. Brett Sock Pattern JB551, available in store on my website as well as at my next pop event, this Saturday 5th September - 9am till 12noon on the Rupert Fison Square (IP5 1JF)

It was another day exploring the south East heritage sites.. this time traveling from Canterbury to Hastings stopping off and visiting the following places on route:

- Reculver Towers and Roman Fort
- St Augustines Cross
- Richborough Roman Fort and Amphitheatre
- Deal Castle
- Walmer Castle and Gardens
- Dover Castle
- Knights Templar Church
- Western Heights Dover
- St John's Commandery
- Dymchurch Martella tower
- Arriving at Hastings for the night ☺️

(Excuse the the very windswept and wet faces! We managed to time the visit to Dover Castle just as the torrential rain and high gales arrived 😂)

It was a very relaxing day exploring Canterbury's Historic sites and city center ☺️

Its just over a week until we are back on the Rupert Fison Square (IP5 1JF) for the Pop Up Craft Shop event with 2wenty3 Candles and Pickle and Belle 🤗🤗
