Been out of the game for a while and I'm back.

The first project for some time was this beautiful Welcome planter for my Mum's birthday. It was great to be back in the workshop to create this piece.

WE'RE BACK!! 👋🏻

It's been a while since I last posted. With work commitments and family issues. Not to mention the football at Ipswich Town Football Club has been nothing short of incredible and I have enjoyed every moment of that. The motivation had also been lacking but I've almost got the workshop back to a good in good order to push forward and I have got back into making a few bits again. A few posts will follow shortly showing bits I've done and what is currently available.

PROJECT PLANTER

Armed with a few bits of timber, some offcuts of composite decking and a spare piece of rattan furtniure.. 👀

Here we have it, a beautiful planter for our garden that the wife had been begging me for is finally complete.

Isn't it amazing what you can do with what most people would simply throw away.

RECLAIM AND RESTORE

Before you think about throwing an item away take and second and see if you can find another use for it.. Especially when it comes to wooden items.

So we were given this arch last year which we made into a seat that was literally dumped in the corner of the garden.

My Nan needed a new arch for her garden as hers had fallen to bits after an amazing 20 years, replacing obviously wasn't going to be cheap so I had💡moment.. I can repurpose this for her garden.

I can't believe how well it turned out and even better that Nan loved it.

Upcycling is where it all started for me so this was really enjoyable.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Part 2 is this beautiful creation I made for my wonderful Mum.

She wanted something to go on this bare wall and this butterfly complete with artifical pot plants has started to make this space look better already. I think I will have to make something else to finish this off though.

Freehand drawn butterfly has come out way better than I expected. I impressed myself with this one 👏🏻
