So we’re home from our trip to Normandy.

For our final day we created an immersive David Hockney experience, by driving through his village and surrounding countryside. It was like driving through his Normandy paintings. Everywhere was so green, saturated in colour.

We payed Laetitia, Philippe and Martin a flying visit too just to say bye bye and to enjoy some delicious chocolate cakes.

Thank you Alice for sharing this wonderful trip. Onwards and upwards…..

One of the advantages of being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator is being able to participate in the wonderful team crafting days run by my upline Stacey Marsh.

We had a brilliant day yesterday on Zoom and Facebook Live when Stacey demonstrated 5 super projects with us crafting along with her.

Those of you who made the wise decision to buy the Pretty Perennials stamp set will recognise that Stacey used this stamp set for most of her projects.

I’m attaching photos of what I’ve made. Can’t wait to get together again so we can use these inspirational ideas. If you want any information about specific cards just send me a private message.

Happy World Card Making Day!

I celebrated the event on Messenger this morning with my good friends Chris Freshwater and Lianna Colburn.

We all made our own versions of this card, scouring our stamp sets to find appropriate little stamps to help build up countryside scenes on the individual panels.

I learnt how to make the card shape from Christine Dyer who decorated hers with colourful dye cut flowers. There is so much you can do and so many themes to follow. How about a fishing one or camping even?

Chris and Lianna will post their cards too later.

Suzanne was the first to trial one of the cards we’ll be making in October.
