Good morning Sunday. The theme for this week's challenge may evade you at first when looking at my collage but it was chosen by Birgitta and is the number Five - identical items or the number itself appearing in each space. Well, my selection may not conform exactly but I can argue the identical requirement. Apologies first for having to turn some of the pictures on their side because of the format. Don't get a crick in your neck! π€π
Five dragonflies in my Sunset Squadron artwork. Postage stamps on a first day cover celebrating the British film industry with Peter Sellers, David Niven, Charlie Chaplin, Vivienne Leigh and Alfred Hitchcock. The golden ewers are in the Museum of Art History in Vienna and are part of the Treasure of NagyszentmiklΓ³s, a horde found in Romania.
The Rennie Macintosh roses decorate a room in the House for an Art Lover in Helensburgh, outside Glasgow. First and second World War medals are followed by royal memorabilia china.
My images of Paris landmarks printed as postcards. A version of the Supper at Emmaus by Caravaggio in the Church of Our Lady in Bruges. Finally, another of my mixed media artworks, Countryside Companions which has five creatures: 3 crows, an owl and a sheep.
The fjnine challenge was created by Megan Flots & Jets, Megan Ridgway .
