Storm Amy wasn’t going to stop our final ever BBQ Workshop and it was great to meet this lovely group of people today.

… And just like that, we’re done. After teaching more than two and a half thousand people to barbecue over the past 9 years; we have closed the lids on our barbecues for the final time. Of course I’ll still be cooking and barbecuing, but we shall be spending more time doing other things that we love too, whilst enjoying our retirement.

A final thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years; apologies to those of you on our waiting list who didn’t get to come on a class (there were just too many of you to accommodate). To all of you … stay safe, barbecue often and be happy. 😘

Today saw our last ever Backyard BBQ Workshop, just one more class until we close our bbq lids for the last time and head into retirement. This lovely group of people, some who have been to some of our other classes and some here for the first time. Today’s pick from our vegetable garden. This years crop has an abundant, lots of homegrown vegetables and fruit used on our BBQ Workshops and made into preserves. In fact so much fruit that our BBQ Workshop guests were welcomed to pick plums, apples and pears from our trees to take home. Thank you to the bees 🐝 the rain 🌧️ and the sunshine 🌞.

The end of another Backyard BBQ Workshop saw this lovely bunch of people come along to learn how to barbecue our way! Lots of laughs, a few telling-offs 🤭 and lots of great food. It was lovely to meet you all, thanks for making it a fun day. (Only two more classes until we retire 😊🥳).

The end of another All American BBQ Workshop, only 3 more classes to go until we retire (not that I’m counting, honest 😇🤭). A lovely group of people today, a few who have been before (including my cousin , his friend James, ) and a few others that I can’t tag.
