New Prince bust just on the drying table….. bit of an experiment this one but pleased with the results. I’m using prismatic paints in silver and purple which colour shift depending on your viewing angle….. I think Elton John next!

These latest pieces will be available to see, hold, and buy at Busters Records by the end of the week.

Every bust is a completely original sculpt, built from scratch by me using ZBrush, LightWave 3D, and advanced 3D tools (yes… I’ve been using LightWave since the Amiga days 😅).

Each piece is printed in ultra-high detail on a Saturn Ultra 16K using premium 8K resin, then hand-finished with high-end FX paints used in the film and prop industry to create incredibly realistic metal and stone surfaces.

These are not “miniature paints” — these are professional cinematic surface systems designed to replicate real-world materials.

Every bust is hand painted by me, with multiple layers, polishing, aging, staining, and long curing times.
Some finishes can take up to 72 hours just for the first layer to dry.

Each finish is chosen to best suit the sculpt, though metallics preserve the sharpest details, while stone finishes create a more authentic carved monument look.

More finishes are coming soon — these are the ones I’ve perfected through hours of testing, layering, and experimentation.
