Destination is my latest work earworm, inspired by the Sugababes Overload, which has been stuck in my head for weeks. Not my thing at all, so it's been the same few lines going round and round and I'm really hoping that dyeing it will remove it from my brain now 🤣 I guess I'll find out tomorrow night.
It's available on BFL and sparkle sock, and crazy 8 DK, in the Freshly Dyed section. The automatic thirty percent off will run from Saturday 8pm, for 48hrs.

Nothing remotely exciting!
The chaos continues here, with expensive van issues squeezing my already limited time and pennies. I've managed to dye a few skeins and have completed orders placed, to be posted later today. Next week isn't looking much better.

I'm hoping to have my new work earworm colourway, Destination, ready in the Freshly Dyed section later today, it's live, but without photos and I need to organise the discount. And I have plans for two more colour cube colourways next week, but I'll see how that goes (more numbers welcome!). Dyeing for Yarndale and wholesale orders need to take priority, so if you have Yarndale requests please let me know.

If anyone knows where to find an extra 10 or so hours in a day please let me in on the secret...

Today's dyeing includes my latest work earworm. This has been stuck in my head for weeks and weeks, but I've not had time to get it out. Hopefully it'll stay away now 😂
The colourway is called Destination. The song isn't available here, so I'll leave it to you to guess (it's not called Destination). I'm hoping to add it to the website next week. Life is a little chaotic at the moment!

Thank you to everyone who has bought one. I think I'll work along the same line next year, with the ideas I haven't had time for.

For those who don't already know, the idea is for those who don't want a surprise, you can purchase early, everything is dyed and ready to post, so there's no risk of paying and me not sending them out. You can gift to someone else, or wrap them up yourself and forget about them until December. By not spending time and money individually wrapping hundreds of mini skeins, I've priced them at my standard minis rate, and you can choose to pay that, or use one of two discount codes. Thank you so much for supporting my little yarny world for so long. I'm sad to say that I'm going to have to switch off sales to the EU for now. From the 12th of August the rules and regulations become increasingly ridiculous for a small business, with the fees for who knows what - packaging, etc (so little of it makes sense for my tiny business). If I can find an affordable way to entice you lovely lot back, I will do so as soon as possible.
Another nail for us little lot, courtesy of Brexit and whatever else. And yes, I understand that we need to reduce our consumption, our waste, etc...

Cotton Candy Cloud (colour cube card 384) is available now! I dyed four bases - llama 4ply, BFL sock, sparkle DK and alpaca chunky. They're in the Freshly Dyed section and there will be an automatic thirty percent off from Friday 8pm for 48 hours.
I'll be away from Wednesday next week, so there will only be one parcel drop, probably on Tuesday.

One of the fun things for me when dyeing these is playing with dyes I rarely use. I used four here, but the green doesn't have appeared to want to join in, so that's taught me something new! I didn't want these to look too similar to Spring Rainbow or other pastel colourways I've dyed, so did things a little differently.
I've dyed four bases - BFL sock, llama 4ply, sparkle DK and an alpaca bulky I rarely dye, so need to use up. They're all blowing dry in the breeze at the moment, but once named I'll pop them in the Freshly Dyed section.

Evening photos are not great. All too soon the days are shortening again; it's not even 8pm and the light isn't enough.
This is tomorrow's colour cube dyeing and I have four bases at the ready. I just need to decide what to do with it. If I could speckle pastels I would, but I'm not sure that's it.
I've caught up with all of my custom dyeing today - they should be in the post on Thursday at the latest. Thank you for your orders 🧶 ❤️ 🧶

At around 8pm tonight I'll be releasing another 3 project bags stuffed full of random standard and sparkle sock yarn. Each bag of yarn is worth at least £180 at my current prices and will be available for £100.
As before the beautiful bags are made by Amelia
The contents include a sock yarn blank and various 50g and 20g minis (there's a full 100g skein in one bag too). Colours in each may be similar, and they may also have been included in previous bags. There may be the occasional second, but most of the yarn is just stock that has been sitting around for longer than I care to look at it for! Nothing is labelled, but I will include basic details (I forgot last time, so hopefully I'll remember this time!). I would say that these are heavy on the sparkle sock, but I haven't counted.
I'll be at work over the weekend so any purchases will be posted next week, probably on Tuesday.
For anyone hoping for DK - I'm working on it 🧶
