Now here is something different! It was hard to get a good picture of this very long cake, so I've got a little reel for you.

You might have seen table runner cakes before, but I've never seen one like this - made for a family celebration of 3 events: 10th wedding anniversary, 5th birthday, and 40th birthday. Each section has something special to, or requested by, a family member.

Mum (red velvet cake) likes dress making, theatre, and coffee. Daughter (vanilla cake) was very clear that she wanted strawberries all the way down. Dad (also vanilla cake) enjoys gardening, DIY, and pears!

The beauty of ordering from a bespoke cake designer is that you can do you, no matter how different that might be.

Such an achievement for my son Toby and his coursemates. So very proud of him!

🧁 A very sweet way to finish our ASDAN CoPE journey! 🦎📚

Today marked the final Portfolio Day for our outgoing ASDAN Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE) cohort, as their portfolios now head towards the final stages ahead of moderation. 🎓✅

After all the challenges, projects, evidence gathering, reflections, teamwork and many portfolio pages along the way, it was lovely to mark the occasion with these incredible red velvet cupcakes from Laura’s Kitchen Cakery, very kindly brought in by one of our ASDAN parents. ❤️🧁

A huge thank you for such a thoughtful (and very tasty!) surprise, they certainly went down well with students and staff alike!

Most importantly, a massive well done to our outgoing CoPE learners. Reaching the end of a qualification like this represents a huge amount of work, perseverance and personal development, and we’re incredibly proud of what this cohort has achieved.

Now for those final portfolio checks… and then moderation! 🤞📁

It was such a pleasure to create not one but TWO birthday cakes for Joy last week. And why did she need two? Because she turned 100, and had celebrations for days! (And each one needed it's own cake of course!).

You can also see her segment on ITV News West if you swipe through (which means my cake was on TV too!) What an amazing life she has led, and she's met the King!

Joy, it was a joy to bake for you. Well done on reaching 100 years young!

This was just the cutest wedding cake for an elopement couple at Thornbury Castle Weddings.

When it's just the two of you at your wedding you can do whatever you like! This groom proposed with Sylvanian Families figures, and the couple together loved plushies and cutesy things, so decided to encorporate those things on their private wedding cake (which they shared with venue staff and other suppliers!)

What would you do at your wedding if there were no rules and noone was watching?! (Apart from a knight in armour, perhaps?👀)
