Christmas editions making their way online, they got a mention in so figured I better update the website, especially as it decided to stop working a couple of weeks ago! A fuller Christmas gift update will be ready towards the end of the month always later than I planned!

Over these years these mugs have had several iterations that never made the cut. I’ve finally found a way of underglazing that keeps me within reach of the calm, muted palette that I’m drawn to, so these will get another round of refinement and I’ll batch up the process.
Not only are these new techniques but a new clay and glaze combination, my previous clay wasn’t as well behaved as I’d like and this new buff clay is beautifully flecked but still fires to a silky smooth finish, good things come to those with patience and a smidge of persistence .

Quiet resolve and putting into place movement. In my lifetime I’ve already watched from the sidelines as the world we know slips into the chaos of war, tossed by the crazed hands of a dangerous ego.
These doves are a small gesture in support of all the refugees living through conflict in our modern lives. A way to find a voice in my creative work and a response to the plight of so many. I’m going to make a series of pieces this week which I’ll auction and donate to . already has some beautiful peace doves in production and I’m pretty certain a flurry of beauty from other potters will follow!

Any one else dreaming of eating all the cheese? I’m partial to a good Devonshire cheddar (Tis in my roots) , festive white Stilton and apricot and a soft wobbly brie.
Last day to order these platters is Monday so if you need a good slab to load up these chaps are chef’s kiss perfect!

These long platters are for decadent meals, boards full of treats and food for sharing, even if only for two 😋.
Waiting for my turn for the booster vaccine and planning out all the ways a Christmas celebration can happen, including extra double back up plans. It would help greatly if this country had some leadership but every opportunity they get they just stuff up. I don’t see a way past the mess of politics so I’m going to send ripples of kindness every other way I can.
Wishing you the loveliest if not the planned Christmas you wanted.

Mini dippers or ring dishes, tiny little gems that I use all the time for little treats and dips for fancy meals. There’s a whole variety of colours and prints to pick from and small enough to hide in a stocking!
Who’s more excited by the contents of their stockings than their presents under the tree 🙋‍♀️.
Who else had to convince their mum they needed to reinstate the joy of the stocking 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️😂.
