Reflecting on my last few days before this season ends for another year....

It's been a joy to meet you all over the past months and to feel the warmth and happiness that the flowers bring to all ages and occasions🥰

Amazing customers venturing out this week amidst the rain showers ☔️💨😎
Birthday flowers, buttonhole & corsage for a wedding and "just because" flowers... which is my camp too!

I've even found a frog or two 🐸🐸😆

Thank you again for all your support and encouragement - it's been fun... and here's to next year starting all over again next May 🏡🌼

PS Wait.... there might be one more event... 🤩
Dare I say it - Christmas Wreathes!!!!

This lovely couple have become great customers this year....🎉🙌🏻🥰💐
Anniversaries, Birthdays and gifts for friends that are needing a wee pick up!

Autumnal colours are in full swing...
Through all these weather conditions the amazing dahlias and hydrangeas are my go to favourites in September and October!

Working now to prepare the garden for winter with extra home made mulch for the perennials and annuals on the compost!
Now in the last couple of weeks before the season ends and my holiday calls! 😎
So please give me a shout if you fancy a few locally grown blooms before the 14th October! 🙏🏻🎉💐🌺

Did you know the garden stall is open 24/7 during the summer months, so you can access when it suits you?

Here is my lovely friend who keeps the honey bees along the road with her beautiful dog Beryl visiting in the evening 😎🐾🌺

Part Two:
A day of days in September
I was very honoured and privileged to be asked to arrange these funeral flowers for such a lovely family.
The brief was bright, cheerful and natural looking....
After nearly five hours they were finished.... even I loved them.
Corsages for all the girls too....🌸🌸🌸

Sometimes its moments like this that you just can't write....
Thank you for letting me be part of your day.

One of my best days yesterday and its September! 🙌🏻🙏🏻🥰🎂🎉

Part One:
75th Birthday bouquet and a friends birthday celebration mixed in with funeral flowers.... photos to follow in Part 2.

Huge volumes of flowers and they all did me proud.
Gladiolis were the showstoppers for these arrangements.
My Eucalyptus tree produced fantastic spikes and the Acer softness around the edges.
Hydrangea at their best now.
Starting to harvest and offering as "Daily Specials" next week.
They will look spectacular in a vase left to dry and last over the winter.

PS: love this dahlia dog... part of a procession in Holland 🤩🐾
PPS: Will restock the stall later today ☺️

Into my last 4 weeks of trading for 2026.
Still plenty of blooms especially the hydrangea, gladioli & dahlias.

Meantime starting to prep the garden for winter...
Cleared out the greenhouse & prepared the ranunculus corms. Brushed off excess soil and put into paper bags.... did notice a wee mouse had been feasting on them.... my fault for not safeguarding them!! 🐭🌸

Haven't seen many of you... maybe half term holidays? 🤔😬 Anyway Enjoy 🙌🏼🍁🌸🍂

It's the last month of flowers, still bright and vibrant through the rain showers! 🌺🍁🌸

The apples have ripened, even the sheep seems to enjoy them 😆🙌🏼🍏🐑

So the rain continues to fall ☔️☔️☔️😜
However the garden stall is restocked bursting with colour. 🙌🏼🍁💐🌺🌸💛

The arrangements are a little more quirky as the charity vases range from a crystal decanter to a beautiful tall cut glass vase. Always a new challenge for me too! 😁🌻

Also I'm about to start harvesting cooking apples so keep an eye out for their arrival on the stall 🍏🍏🍏

As Autumn approaches the gladioli, dahlias and hydrangea are in their prime!

The bigger blooms now lean towards larger flower arrangements so at the garden stall today the arrangements range from £10 posies to £20 gladioli beauties!

Still great value and will cheer you up on this dreary rainy day! ☔️🌈🌻🌺
