Some fabulous flooring for you this Friday! 🍂

These gorgeous autumn tones and this super herringbone from Harvey Maria bring so much warmth and classic style to the room.

Whether your home is modern or traditional, I’ve yet to see a property where herringbone doesn’t work. It’s timeless, but still adds plenty of interest and character.

And those warm tones feel just right as we head into autumn. 🤎

September always feels like a good time for a bit of an interiors reset.

New colours, new fabrics and a chance to make a room feel slightly different as we head into autumn.

These beautiful voile Roman blinds were made for a property in Salcombe where the aim was privacy without losing that lovely view.

🪡 Made in Villa Nova Erice in Vellum, they bring in those soft, warm tones and lovely texture.

Erice is a loosely woven semi-sheer with a natural-looking slub, so you still get that floaty light coming through while adding softness and interest to the window.

Can we have a moment for Anywhere Carpet by Alternative Flooring? 👏👏

It has all the gorgeous texture and natural look of sisal, but it’s actually a clever 100% polypropylene sisal lookalike carpet, which makes it hardwearing, easy to clean and incredibly practical.

When they say Anywhere, they really do mean anywhere! 👇👇

Use it indoors, in kitchens and bathrooms, or even outside as a rug. It’s also a brilliant option for commercial spaces, hotels, offices and busy holiday homes.

We recently created this gorgeous blind in Jane Churchill’s fabric Pizaro, Teal/Ochre and absolutely love how it looks. 💙💛

Then we spotted this beautiful image from Jane Churchill Fabrics showing the Pizaro fabric in Blue made up as a curtain paired with a seat cushion in the Maroc fabric, and wanted to share it with you as some lovely fabric inspiration.

Same collection, two different looks, showing a beautiful combination of pattern and colour. It’s always interesting to see how the fabrics can work together in totally different ways depending on how you use them.

Phew, it’s busy keeping up at this time of year! ☀️⛵️

Last week was Salcombe Regatta, and we managed to squeeze in a lovely evening at Café at Port Waterhouse and watch the fireworks. 🎆

In between projects, graduations and everything else that comes with a busy summer, we’re already starting to think about September!

We know carpets, curtains and flooring probably aren’t top of the list when the sun is shining and you’d rather be outside, but if you’ve got a home project you’d like to get started once summer settles down, now is a really good time to start planning it. 👏

Pop into the Kingsbridge showroom, have a look through the samples and fabric books, and have a chat with us about your ideas. We can get everything measured, chosen and booked into the diary ready for autumn. 🍂🏡

An optical illusion for you here! 👀

At first glance, this staircase looks as though it’s going up, but scroll to the next image and you’ll see it’s actually going down! ⤵️

We’re so pleased with how this stair carpet we recently supplied and fitted looks.

A great before and after for you! Take a look, and there’s a little glimpse of the work in progress too. 👀

That was a lot of careful cutting, but just look at the finish around those curves!

Karndean LVT is an excellent choice for rooms with lots of small corners, awkward angles and detailed areas, as it can be cut precisely to fit the space.

Look how closely our fitters have worked around the exposed stonework, creating a beautifully neat finish.

A brilliant job from our fitting team, and what a transformation! What do you think?

We thought we’d better share some of the lovely carpets we’ve been supplying and fitting in bedrooms recently! ✨

This beautiful Cormar Fairisle wool loop carpet looks so elegant in this Devon home.

Classic, warm and timeless, it has completely transformed the bedroom.
