Please don’t choose a herringbone floor if you’re hoping nobody notices it… 🤭

How clever is this? 🤍

Our client wanted a Roman blind to match the light voiles, but as this is a TV room, they also needed to reduce the glare.

The solution? Double voile!

We created an oversized Roman blind and lined the it with a second layer of voile, helping to reduce the glare creating that lovely light, airy effect.

Et voilà! Just look at that view! 🌊

How do you dress a tricky four-bend bay window? This is how.

This was a great project to work on, and a lovely example of what you can do with a more complicated window.

The client wanted the very on-trend bronze wrought iron pole, which comes with C-rings designed to slide effortlessly over the brackets and around the bends.

They chose this beautiful Fermoie fabric, which works so well with the double pleat heading.

And to finish the look, we interlined the curtains, adding extra warmth and giving them that lovely, luxurious hang.

Take a look at how we fitted it. A tricky window, but such a beautiful result. 👌

A little peek at a recent project in Salcombe. 🪟

These beautiful apex curtains have been made with a double pleat heading in Ashley Wilde Kai Rayna Willow and just look at that view down the Salcombe Estuary! 🌊

Apex windows can be a little trickier to dress, but bespoke curtains mean you can work with the shape of the window for a perfect finish.

Thankfully the sun decided not to shine for fitting day, because it would have been hot up there! Although I’m a bit sad about the change in seasons… ☔️

Some fabulous flooring for you this Friday! 🍂

These gorgeous autumn tones and this super herringbone from Harvey Maria bring so much warmth and classic style to the room.

Whether your home is modern or traditional, I’ve yet to see a property where herringbone doesn’t work. It’s timeless, but still adds plenty of interest and character.

September always feels like a good time for a bit of an interiors reset.

New colours, new fabrics and a chance to make a room feel slightly different as we head into autumn.

These beautiful voile Roman blinds were made for a property in Salcombe where the aim was privacy without losing that lovely view.

🪡 Made in Villa Nova Erice in Vellum, they bring in those soft, warm tones and lovely texture.

Erice is a loosely woven semi-sheer with a natural-looking slub, so you still get that floaty light coming through while adding softness and interest to the window.
