Herringbone has been around for centuries, and there’s a reason the pattern never really goes out of style.

Originally used by the Romans for strength and durability, herringbone later became a hallmark of beautiful traditional parquet flooring in elegant homes across Europe. 🗺️

Today, it still brings exactly the same sense of craftsmanship, movement and character to a room, but now you can achieve the look in modern LVT too, giving you all the beauty of laid wood with a super hardwearing, practical finish for everyday life. 👏

A little behind the scenes from start to finish 👀

Take a look at this glorious little project where we’ve gone matchy matchy and we love it! 🩵

A beautifully whimsical design from GP & J Baker, creating such a cosy feel and such a wonderful way to add character to a room.

The matching wallpaper and Roman blind work so beautifully together, while the cute Villa Nova voile adds a soft, pretty finish at the window.

We love seeing a scheme come together like this.

Ooh, Karndean x Alternative Flooring… what a combination! 🤩

Triple herringbone, and we are here for it. 💙

Take a look at how fabulous this Karndean floor laid in herringbone in Traditional Character Oak looks alongside this Alternative Flooring sisal herringbone, finished with a beautiful Bluebird cotton border (which is also herringbone!).

The mix of warm oak tones, natural texture and that lovely blue edge detail works so well together. Classic, practical, and just that little bit different. All supplied and fitted by us.
