From empty unit to The Railway Café ☕️

A look back at the transformation from the early stages of the build to the café as it is today — a space that has become part of the Toncam showroom and a familiar stop for customers, staff and the local community.

As Toncam celebrates 30 years this June, we’re also celebrating how much the unit has grown and changed along the way.

A look back at where Toncam has grown from over the years.

These photos show the old shop in its earlier days, before it was done up, followed by the space after it had been transformed into a proper showroom for flooring, interiors and home inspiration.

It’s a reminder of how much has changed over the last 30 years — from the early shopfront and first displays, to the showroom, interiors space and Railway Café we have today.

Through every stage, the support from our customers, staff, suppliers and local community has helped shape Toncam into what it is now.

This June, we’re celebrating 30 years of Toncam and building towards our celebration day on Sunday 28th June.
