Missed a few days while I had surgery on my wrist and had a couple of days of pampering/observation at Mum & Dad’s.
Won’t be able to drive for a while so no work but I can still come up with new ideas and engrave light items so hopefully be able to put up a few more items before the end of August.
Anyway here’s one I prepared earlier, a 29x12 cm slate serving plate with a pithy wee message. £10 plus p&p

I made these story dice for my daughter’s birthday yesterday.
She’s a teacher and I thought these might be an aid for lessons. They were really appreciated and sparked a host of ideas from her and her mum, also a teacher.
9 themed dice:
Emotion eg. happy, sad, angry
Weather eg. sun, storm, snow
Companion eg. mouse, dragon, cat
Tools eg. hammer, lamp, dynamite
Continent, all but Antarctica

Today’s offering is a 6 inch (15 cm) round wooden hanging with a fun Highland Coo ‘Gein’ It Laldy’ on the drums. Finished with a couple of coats of Tung Oil to emphasise the grain.
These rounds have a metal eye added and can be strung with a choice of ribbon colour or string.
These can be personalised with your own image and or message and cost £9.
