Hi all

Back from holiday, whilst away I’ve come up with an idea that’s going to help me get back to a stable schedule, so I’d like customer feedback if possible please.

I’m looking at changing the frequency of cleans from every four weeks to six weeks right across the board, I only have a small handful of bimonthly jobs, so the vast majority are all the same.

I’ve sat and roughly rewrote the round to suit, everything works on paper and takes the strain and pressure off myself.

My brother is due back to work and on the mend, but it’s only going to be light duties for what I’d guess, the rest of the year at least, can’t judge until we actually start.

I won’t lie, I can’t carry on as I have been doing, the workload over the years, especially the last three months has taken its toll and its time to slow it down.

My other option is to carry on as I am but reduce the round by a significant number, so it’s much more manageable, this would mean cancelling a lot of work, which I don’t want to do.

If I was to move to six weekly, which is around what I’ve been managing anyways, this would mean some small price increases, not all, some, jobs that are due to go up anyways.

If I can just have a bit of feedback please and I’ll be chatting to customers that I see in person over the next few weeks, everybody has been fine with this so far.

I’d like to thank everyone for sticking by me over the years, especially this last year, everyone has been patient and understanding, it’s greatly appreciated.

I only want to provide the best, reliable service I can, thank you for your custom, I’ll give an update asap.

Quick update.

My brother is still off work, recovering as expected but these things take time.

Hopefully he’s able to come and start just doing a bit of reeling in/out over the next couple of weeks, but will be a while before normal duties can resume.

This weather has been against me big time, and can only clean so many houses per day on my own, trust me, it’s been very difficult in this heat.

I’m due on holiday from 15th August for two weeks, could do without it, but seriously need a break, this is all starting to take its toll on me!

All I can say is bear with me, I’m doing my best and all I can do until things are back to normal. 👍

Hi all, quick update for everyone.

Plan A went a bit west, so having to rethink, plan B…i will be taking each weeks work over two weeks, effectively bringing everyone’s 4 week clean to 6 week cleans.

I should be able to manage this way, I’ve sat and rewrote the round a couple of times and it’s the only way that is working on paper.

Unfortunately, there’s still jobs that will need to come off, I’m doing my best not to lose anyone, but pretty impossible in some situations, it’s nothing personal!

My brother is showing slow improvement, but was a little more severe than we thought, but on the road to recovery.

Just giving everyone an update.

My brother has had his appendix removed, even though we don’t think this is the main cause of his issues, it could be, it was in a state when removed, but the ongoing issue has been proven to be gallstones.. time will tell.

So at least we have some kind of clarity, but doesn’t change much of the situation with work, there’s still recovery time and getting back to full strength, which could take months.

I’ve had to start cancelling some work, it’s not personal, but i simply can’t do a full weeks work on my own, regardless to Kev only been part time.

So once I’ve got more of an idea how I’ll get on, I’ll be working day to day, instead of completing a full area in a week, things will go over as I’m already a little behind.

Once we’re back to normal, the round will run as I restructure it, if we can put any jobs back on, I’ll be in touch with people, but don’t expect anyone to wait.

Regards conservatory roofs, gutters and soffit jobs, I’ll have to suspend any in the pipeline, I simply don’t have time and won’t be offering any of these services moving on, but can recommend a few local businesses that will carry the work out for anyone.

So please bear with me, I’ll get to everyone asap and thank you for your support.

Hi all.

Unfortunately my brother(employee) has been taken ill again, with an on going gallbladder issue(they think) and is currently in and out of hospital.

So the round will get behind, I’m trying my best to keep on top of everything but already struggling.

I’m afraid I’m going to have to make some changes, which includes some cancellations, this hasn’t been an easy decision, but there’s nothing I can do I’m afraid.

I want to thank everyone for your understanding, but these problems are very unforeseen.

Hi all, I’m off with the kids this coming week, the round will resume as normal next week.

While im off, I’ll be starting preparations for upcoming changes for small Businesses.

This being said, I’m having to incorporate some small increases in price with some jobs from April 2026, Customers affected will be notified via text, and won’t have previously seen an increase in price before.

Within the system, I’m also monitoring late payments closer, jobs not following instructions, will be automatically removed, it’s nothing personal, I’m doing my part of things with no complaints.

I knocked back 9 new enquiries last week as I’m full, I can’t keep people on the books that aren’t doing their bit, It’s as simple as that, plus I don’t need the headache and don’t have the time.

I know December and January are the toughest months, I don’t have a big problem with late payments, but need everyone on the same page, as I can’t have jobs behind, when I’m submitting more frequently to my accountant and hmrc.

I want to thank everyone for their continued support.

I’ll be back booking work in within the next couple of weeks, I’m nursing a few injuries I was carrying since last November, it’s important to rest, to heal correctly.
