A huge thankyou to everyone who visited the gallery for this year’s Open Studios weekend! It was brilliant to see both new and regular customers and catch up with everyone 😌
We’ll be open again this Friday/Saturday (21st/22nd) and are then taking a couple of weekends break, plan to be open again for Fridays/Saturdays from 11th September onwards.
Framing drop-ins are welcome during these times but you can also contact me directly for an appointment outwith these times.
I’ll leave you with grumpy otter 🤣…

Not everyone has room for a large chart, so we also have a lovely selection of smaller maps and sea charts of Arran, available both framed and unframed.

They’re a great way to bring a little piece of the island into your home — and make lovely gifts for anyone with a connection to Arran.

One of the things you’ll find when you visit the gallery is our collection of Arran maps and sea charts, available both framed and unframed.

We have a range of larger pieces, perfect for making a real feature of a wall and bringing a little bit of Arran’s character and history into your home.

✨ Exciting things are happening at Black Fox Studio!

After many years of picture framing here in Lamlash, and taking part in the Open Studios every summer, we’ve decided to open the workshop and gallery/shop on a weekly basis.

This means you can now drop in for framing, or come and have a browse through the artwork and maps we have available. We’re on Lamlash Green, between the Glenisle and the pharmacy.

We’ll be open every Friday and Saturday, 10am–4pm.

Framing appointments are also available outwith these hours — just contact me directly as usual.

This weekend, we’re open Friday–Monday for the Arran Open Studios 2026 event.

It’ll be lovely to welcome you in!
