We’re seeing out summer with a day of local makers, live demonstrations, great food, drinks and live music — and everyone’s invited!

🍂 Autumn is on its way! My next workshop at Applestore Cafe at Wyresdale Park. 🍂 🍂

Are our thoughts turning to Cosy season yet? I know it’s August and warm, but blink and it will be darker nights and crisp morning air! Let’s kick off candle season with a gorgeous workshop at Applestore Cafe at Wyresdale Park on October 17th. Candlemaking, on-trend glassware, all equipment and materials provided, followed by Afternoon Tea by the Applestore. Tickets are £46, with no increase on 2025 prices.

Christmas Tree Advent Calendars. They will go on the website for pre-order at the start of September. I will have a few available at markets and Jess at MAED and Co in Kendal will have a few in stock. As I said, these take some time to make, I can only make one at a time, so they will be limited in number so I can be sure they are all delivered by the end of November.

Too soon? Another peep at what’s coming…
These Christmas Tree advent candles will be limited in number. They weigh 1.3 kg each, I can only make one at a time and they need to sit in the mould for at least 24 hours, before the numbers and lettering are hand painted in non-toxic gold candle paint, so as you can imagine, I can’t make hundreds.
Thinking of putting them on pre-order on the website. What do we think?
