Just starting to get back into the swing after Edinburgh Burds 2026!
It was such a wonderful weekend to be part of β€οΈ Big love and thanks to Lisa E Graef β’ Signwriter & Leah Pendleton for organising and hosting such a great event.
Spending time amongst and painting with such a wonderful group of sign painters was so inspiring.
I did my first ever demo over the weekend showing different glass techniques as an alternative to acid etching and despite being incredibly nervous it seemed to go ok π€£
Lucky enough to catch so many good demos and talks all throughout the weekend too!
To top it all off I came away from the auction with these two stunners to grace my studio walls from George Matthews & Lettra Lettre β€οΈ
1. Demo - I can't remember who I screenshotted this picture from though ππ€¦ββοΈ
2. Burds
3. Demo pieces - The 'Cheep Thrills' was a quick knock up inspired by an antique panel that says 'Cheap Funerals' and ofc it's 'cheep' like the bird sound and the flourish is two little birds.
4. Entrance of the venue, the historic Leith Theatre
5. Panels from the weekend
6. Bungo Sign Co. π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ giving a talk on business
