One my latest restorations. This Longcase clock was made by William Sully in Langport around 1820. It was a real mess and hadn't seen any attention for 100 years or so. Not many customers would have taken this on. I'm glad they did. Not back alive and ticking for the next 100 years.

All back in one piece after a full restoration. This is a very rare Georgian Bracket clock C1775. Centre sweep seconds Bracket clocks are rare enough, however this is an original verge fusee which makes it very unusual.
As you can imagine John Brown was a common name in the mid 18th century and I can't work out from records which of the several John Browns were working in London at the correct date.
