The classic heart shape goes far deeper than romance—it is a timeless symbol of warmth, deep gratitude, and the things that keep us grounded.

When you give someone a heart, you are often offering a token of comfort, a reminder of home, or a symbol of strength and protection.

Inside the collective, we have a wonderful collection of heart-shaped pieces crafted lots of different materials....sea-softened glass, rustic slate, and smooth wood, paper and wool.

These make beautiful gifts to welcome someone into a new house, say a grounding thank-you to a friend, or simply bring a sense of peace and joy to your own everyday space.

Pop into the centre of Launceston this week to explore our shelves at Zebs and find an independent treasure that speaks from the heart.

We are delighted to feature one of our local creators today as part of our artist showcase.

Meet Peter, a self-taught artist originally from Nottingham who followed a childhood dream and made the move to Cornwall in 2024.

Now living here in Launceston, Peter has rediscovered his artistic path with renewed energy and intention after setting his creative journey aside for a time to raise his family.

This collection features Indian Deities worked in acrylics.

Pop into Church Street this week to see Peter’s collection up close and experience the rich textures and tones of his work in person.
