Playing around with 3 lovely little moonstones. Funny how one idea changes with a slight twist of a stone. Initially I thought little flowers, now I am thinking little mushrooms.

Well, what a weekend!!
Thank you to everyone who came to Art In The Park Leamington Spa this weekend. Thank you to everyone who stopped and chatted, had a good look and purchased this weekend. Wonderful weather, wonderful people.
Thank you to the organising team the Art in the Park for such a well organised event.

A new batch of handprinted lamps are now finished. Gold circles and Lino or ginkgo leaves. Ready for on the 1st and 2nd of August.

Had a lovely few hours today teaching an introduction to Lino Print Making a great group of people from never tried to had a go years ago. They first tried different tools and way to make marks which we then printed onto cards in two layers rotating the block for an abstract print before moving onto their own designs. They all did fantastically well.

Well after a bit of last minute making in a baking hot studio (using heat !!!!🥵) thing have been dropped of at Dale Street Methodist Church for set up of with
So a bit of drawing just for pleasure, and yes that is a glass of rosè. Was going to go in for colour but the light is changing by the minute now so we shall see.

Just a little fact for you, don’t allow myself a rubber until the end of drawing just as a little exercise. So a few adjustments might happen now and the lines will get a bit confusing but the correct one stands out or I work with the wrong line. So if I happened to have taught you and wouldn’t let you use a rubber I follow that rule myself🤣🤣

Well the first of the Sunflowers has left the building and is Art Room for their Fabulous Fortnight exhibit. This is number 8 in the edition and the first of the deeper yellow set. The brighter yellow framed Sunflower will be with be at Dale Street Methodist church for Open Studio’s from Saturday 27th.
I will also have unframed numbered prints in both colour ways there.
