This little footballer came to life from just a picture and some yarn ⚽🧶

I was asked to create a personalised crochet football player as a birthday gift for a little boy, and instead of following a pattern, I simply looked at a photo and freehanded the entire thing - stitch by stitch, detail by detail ✨

No template, no written instructions, just imagination, counting, and a lot of love poured into every part.

From the kit colours to the tiny boots and facial details, everything was made to capture the spirit of the player and turn it into something truly special 💙

It’s one of my favourite things about crochet - being able to turn an idea or image into a keepsake that means something.

Say hello to my latest handmade teddy 🧶🐻

This little one is extra special - he will be part of the charity event at Tingley Athletic Football Club on Friday, 23rd August!

Lovingly stitched with soft yarn, squishy hugs, and a whole lot of heart, he will be helping raise money for a great cause.

The best bit? Her adorable scarf was made by my lovely neighbour, who came to the rescue after several failed knitting attempts from me 🤣🙈

I absolutely loved bringing this one to life!
Made with soft velvet yarn and finished with embroidered details for that extra bit of charm.
