POV: You planned a lie in, a slow morning and a nice chilled weekend… 🥰

Then your brain at 8am said:

✨ *“But what if we cleaned the skirting boards?”* ✨

And before you know it, you’ve stripped the beds, put a wash on, cleaned the bathroom, reorganised a cupboard you haven’t opened in 6 months and somehow ended up deep-cleaning the fridge. 😂

Why are mums like this?!

I genuinely don’t know how to relax some days when I know there’s something in the house that could be cleaned. 🫠

If your towels have started feeling a little hard, flat or scratchy, try adding bicarbonate of soda to your towel wash.

It can help freshen towels and lift away the build-up that can make them feel less soft… leaving them feeling clean, fresh and fluffy again ✨

🧺 My fluffy towel tip: Add bicarbonate of soda to the drum with your towels and wash as normal. Avoid overloading the machine and make sure your towels are completely dry afterwards.
Because honestly… there’s nothing better than wrapping yourself in a big, soft, fluffy towel after a shower 😍

A reminder that creating a home you love takes time.🤍

Especially when you’re creating a family home while also, you know… actually living your life. 😂

We’ve been renovating our home for 10 years and we’re still not finished. There are still rooms I’d change, projects on the list and corners that haven’t quite made it to the top of the priority list.

But I’m learning that’s okay.

Because a beautiful home doesn’t have to happen overnight. It can evolve slowly, as your family grows, your style changes and life happens.

I’d rather create a home filled with things we genuinely love than rush to make everything “finished” just for the sake of it.

So if you’re looking around your house thinking “I still have so much to do…”

You’re not behind 🤍

And that takes time.
