Two bespoke bridal bouquets, created for Sasha & Chelcie 🤍
Sasha and Chelcie got married at the Chilli Barn in August, and I loved creating these beautiful bouquets for them — designed to complement each other while still feeling personal to each bride.

Heather & Josh’s wedding reception at The Venue Bowers Mill
When I’m designing wedding flowers, I’m always thinking beyond the individual arrangements and looking at how the flowers will work within the whole room.
For this wedding, their wooden ceremony arch was reused later in the day as a backdrop behind the top table and cake table — a lovely way to make something they had already invested in work twice as hard.
For the tables, we created a mix of floral runners and smaller bud vase arrangements, depending on the layout. I love using different heights, shapes and amounts of flowers across a room rather than making everything identical. It creates little points of interest and means your eye keeps moving around the space.
And when all those elements come together with the styling, tablescape and candlelight, that’s when the room really starts to feel like their wedding.

How we transform a wedding venue... 🤍
A little look at Heather & Josh’s beautiful wedding ceremony at The Venue Bowers Mill, Halifax.
The ceremony space is often the first part of the wedding your guests experience, so I love creating that feeling of walking into a room that has been completely transformed for the occasion.
For Heather & Josh, the floral arch created a beautiful focal point at the end of the aisle, with blush and cream flowers bringing softness and romance to the space.
It’s about using flowers thoughtfully — knowing where to make an impact, where to keep things simple and how to make the most of the space you’re working with.
And then, once everything is in place, we step back and look at the room as a whole.
That moment when you can see how all the flowers have come together within the space is one of my favourite parts of being a wedding florist — taking a beautiful venue and adding those floral details that make it feel completely personal to the couple. 🤍

A little look back at Heather & Josh’s beautiful May wedding at The Venue Bowers Mill, Halifax ✨
There are so many things I love about wedding flowers, but it’s the meaning behind them that makes them truly special.
Heather and Josh’s May wedding was filled with the prettiest blush and cream flowers, soft greens and a relaxed, rustic feel that worked so beautifully with the setting at Bowers Mill.
But tucked away in Josh’s buttonhole was a tiny detail that made me smile…
A little sprig of heather.
It was kept as a secret from Heather and was a little nod to his wife to be, such a simple, thoughtful touch, but one that carried so much meaning. And I think it’s these little personal details that make wedding flowers so much more than just something beautiful to look at.
Heather’s mum, Rachel, was also a huge part of the flower journey. She worked alongside Heather and myself when choosing the flowers and helping to decide what would feel right for the day.
And one of my favourite moments came from the wedding day when Rachel gave me the biggest hug, absolutely thrilled with how everything had come together.
Those moments mean so much to me as a florist. Being trusted to create something for such an important day is one thing, but seeing the reaction when everything comes to life is something I’ll never take for granted.

There's something so special about seeing every detail come together.
From the bridal bouquet and elegant bud vases to romantic centrepieces, every arrangement was thoughtfully designed to complement the beautiful surroundings of Bowcliffe Hall.
Creating flowers that feel timeless, natural and completely personal is always my favourite part of a wedding day.

Not every part of floristry is glamorous...
I always seem to have busy hands and dirty nails... and yes, l'm fully aware the flip flops aren't exactly the safest choice when l'm using knives and scissors! 😂
But seeing these blooms come to life makes every bit of the mess worthwhile.
It's all about the finished result, and that's what keeps me smiling.

Lauren envisioned a bridal bouquet that felt romantic, full of depth and texture, with a soft, compact shape and just a subtle touch of boho.
Using a beautiful blend of toffee, cream, burnt orange and white tones, I brought together dahlias, roses, fragrant stocks and delicate pampas grass to create a bouquet that felt natural, elegant and full of movement. Every stem was carefully chosen to reflect Lauren's vision and complement the beautiful surroundings of her day.
