Burrs (or burls) are those incredible, rounded growths you sometimes see on trees — formed through stress, injury, or nature doing its mysterious thing — creating the most beautifully twisted, unpredictable grain patterns.

Honestly… they’re absolutely stunning!Raw, natural beauty at its finest.

We’re keeping it limited (partly because they’re rare, partly because we can only carry so much - they're pretty big 😅), so if you fancy getting your hands on something truly unique, come find us!

This is us — Simon & Kate — the slightly sawdust-covered faces behind Black Bull Timbers. What started as “let’s give this a go” somehow turned into “we might actually know what we’re doing”… (don’t worry, we do 😄).

And now…We've 'grabbed the bull by the horns'... we’ll be attending our very first woodwork show 😱😆

We’ve poured a lot of love, late nights, elbow grease💪 and probably too many cups of tea & coffee into it 😅— because honestly, we love it and we're so excited!!!
