My Client Ryan contacted me regards issues with his bay windows on my arrival the cracked rendering and deformed Upvc cills pointed to a unsupported loading ( the brickwork was sat on the windows).
I told him I had a solution to the problem and set about having a steel post and framework made.
New steel framework was installed allowing clearance for the new windows to be installed load free the existing floor joists where sistered onto the steelwork removing all loading from the windows.
New structural timber framework was installed with 150mm insulation ( the previous bay had no insulation at all).
Breathable waterproof membrane and Anthracite cladding was installed to complete the works.
