So I have today off. It can't be helped. Fingers crossed Little Leaf Cafe can get back up and running soon. At least no one was hurt, that's the main thing.

💔 Absolutely devastated 💔

Unfortunately, after last night’s strong winds, we’ve lost part of the roof of our polytunnel, leaving us with no choice but to close Little Leaf Cafe today.

Today was supposed to be our biggest and busiest craft market of the year, and we were so looking forward to welcoming everyone to Palmer Plants and Little Leaf Cafe for what should have been a fantastic day.

We’re absolutely heartbroken. 😢 This has come as a huge blow to our business, both emotionally and financially, and the impact of having to close on what should have been one of our busiest days of the year is going to be significant.

We know so many of our wonderful stallholders have spent time preparing for today, and so many of you were planning to come along and support our local businesses. We’re incredibly sorry to everyone affected.

Our priority now is to make everything safe and assess the damage. We’re keeping everything crossed that we can rearrange the craft market for next Sunday and give everyone the day we had planned. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support, kindness and understanding. Small independent businesses really do rely on days like today, and we hope you’ll continue to support us while we try to pick ourselves up and get back on our feet. ❤️

Been a difficult week with resin. With the drop in temperature the resin has been slow in curing. But I've got a few things done.

On Sunday im at Little Leaf Cafe cafe for the monthly market. Going to be some extra markets in here running up to Xmas. I would recommend people have cash if possible. Don't know yet if people's card machines will be effected by this Internet glitch.

Here's a few items I should have with me. My special coasters. Dominoes and chess. Xmas cards and carousel. Might leave my new decorations for now.

In a year of firsts, I've added another first to my list. I've submitted some sculptures for exhibition. Don't know if I've done this right. Don't know if they will get accepted. But I've done it. Fingers crossed now. Here's a few images of the sculptures.

Another week begins. Miserable weather today, hope it picks up for the weekend. I'm back at Little Leaf Cafe on Sunday for the monthly market. Should be a great day as the cafe has full signs up for traders. Get along and look out for Halloween and Christmas gifts . Some fantastic traders and makers attend this market. Well worth a look. I'll post a few things I'm taking along later this week. But here's a sneak peak.

I've been looking at prints of my artwork and how I can utilise them. What I've done here is picked some that have a winter feel and made some Xmas cards. These may have their first outing this Saturday at the Grove in Horsforth.

I've been trying to frame some paintings for a while. Kind of had half success but not quite there. Think I may just about have cracked it. Never give up. If things don't come together, try again.
