Hey Contractor Equipment, we aren't even watering down the Zinsser UK —straight raw shellac through the Graco Children's Products GX21 airless sprayer because we aren't cowards. 😉 Spraying overhead alcohol mist is basic training for the lungs anyway. 💨 Soot Obliteration: Zero wet sugar soap messes here! It’s all dry-soot vacuuming and chemical sponging to lock out that carbon Nilfisk , your extraction system is earning its keep today, sucking up soot like it's fresh air.
🔫 High-Pressure Spraying: Firing up the airless pump to blast that primer, followed by a crisp coat of Dulux . (Juwelux levels of shine coming to the woodwork later, watch this space).
⏳ The Woodwork Sweep: Picture rails, skirting boards, architrave frames, and an unhung door are getting the full white oil gloss treatment. We are also throwing the full woodwork sweep at the beautiful wooden bay windows and window sill! We’ll be showing off some serious before-and-after pictures of the extensive bare-wood prep work we've done on those later, so keep your eyes peeled. 🪵📸
📐 Dustless Prep: Bringing out the heavy artillery—the twin sander setup with Abranet 120, 180, and 360 grit pads. If you aren't denibbing your intermediate oil gloss with a 360 pad on a low speed setting, do you even care about your clients? 🫳🎤
🔩 The Extra Details: Precision-prepping and spraying the custom metal window pane surrounds to tie the whole bay window structure together seamlessly.
And because Tom the owner at Wall2Wall is an obsessive who is completely OCD about finishes and wants everything absolutely perfect, we are finishing the job by cross-lining the walls horizontally. We're setting up the tripod, throwing out a razor-sharp laser level beam, and hanging 1400-grade trade lining paper from the picture rails down to the skirts like absolute specialists. No vertical overlaps, just brick-staggered lines and flawless trimming. 📏📋
