Hi guys, still hanging in there by a very thin thread, waiting for the phone to ring and the world to start turning again.
We've been having a good old clear out and plan to sell off old equipment discounted online. Do any of our friends out there know a trustworthy decent web designer? We fancy a makeover of our simple site but with an online store facility. Please direct them our way if you do, many thanks!

27 companies based at council-owned business centre cannot claim Government grants

The Leicester Mercury have taken on our fight. They have asked the council for a more accurate statement on their neglect and unwillingness to take things further. The council told us to lobby parliament and the government. I had to point out their email ends with .gov and they are our local government. Watch this space! All of us got together today observing social distancing, we’ve all signed a letter to be sent to MPs, Downing Street, the BBC and any who’ll help us get the help we are entitled to; help that Leicester council are currently bragging they are giving. If anyone knows if we can setup a civil claim against them for money saving and mismanaging the property we rent from them, let me know! It would of cost too much for them to give us our own business rates accounts so they opted to put us as one which has now denied us help. Hi Everyone. After an incredibly busy year, with Covid 19 things are coming crashing down. Work slowed down in February as the leisure industry ground to a halt and closed. Left with money owed to us we’ve entered difficult times. Work has been postponed so we have a future if we can pause through these times. However due to a government loophole we are not receiving the promised business grant. As we are based in a business centre paying our business rates in our rent we do not have an account for them. This strikes you out of any help. The government say we may get a loan to pay for our own aid in spite of us paying our way for ten years. All this with so called government reassurance we’ll be ok. For the first time in 50 years I’ve signed on. I stand here fighting and do not plan on going anywhere! The last 3 weeks have been intense. I’ve got right to the top of the council and still nothing. Had loads of help from friends, which I’m incredibly grateful for. If any of you guys out there have an avenue, contact or organisation that can help us fight, please refer us to them.
