Haven't been to the studio much so far this week due to half term but hoping to get a days work in tomorrow.and catch up with emails too! Fingers crossed its a productive day🤞I did manage to drop off my new floral sideboard though at the weekend; displayed with some paintings I had framed for open studios recently in the entrance and it all looked so pretty together?!

Home ready 🩷🌼

If you visited me at Open Studios in Market Harborough, you may have seen me painting this piece irl! I paint my florals intuitively, as to be honest not thinking about the subject too much for me as a process is pure joy (I guess it's that freeing feeling of doodling with no pressure) and joy is the feeling I would love my clients to feel when looking at this reimagined Remploy mcm sideboard now bursting with life!

It has gone from sad and unloved, but now it represents regeneration and growth, the next part of the journey is to find it a new home!!

It's rare I take the time to create this style of work when it's not a commission for someone because it is so niche and one of a kind, so please do let me know if you love it!

I'm feeling shop or gallery vibes too so if you have a spot for these please do get in touch also!

Starting tomorrow... Turn a May weekend into something a little different ✨

Harborough Artists Cluster Open Studios takes place over 9th–10th May and 16th–17th May, with studios opening their doors across Market Harborough and beyond.

With locations spread throughout the area, you can dip into a couple of nearby studios or plan a full day out exploring multiple stops. Follow the addresses, match them with the map, and create your own route.

Expect a warm welcome, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty to spark your curiosity along the way.

Start in the town centre, grab a coffee, then head out to discover studios tucked away in all sorts of interesting places — it’s about the journey as much as the art.

Forgotten but not forever and now covered in flowers, somehow an appropriate way to celebrate this chest of drawers transformation!
