🌧️💨 WELL, THAT'S SUMMER WELL AND TRULY OVER! 🥶

The wind's howling, the rain's pouring, and the heating's back on… Welcome to autumn in the North West! 😂

But here's a question…

Is your conservatory a room you actually use, or somewhere you shut the door on until spring? 👀

If it's freezing in winter, boiling in summer or you can hear every raindrop hitting the roof, it might be time for an upgrade!

🏡 Our tiled conservatory roof system can help:

✅ Keep your conservatory warmer in winter
✅ Make it more comfortable in summer
✅ Reduce outside noise and glare
✅ Give your conservatory a stylish new look
✅ Create a space you can enjoy all year round

And the best bit? You don't necessarily need a whole new conservatory!

There’s nothing better than hearing that a customer is happy with their finished work — but knowing they’ve been happy with the whole experience, from their first chat with Clare right through to the completed job, makes it even better. 💙

🥶 HEATING ON… BUT THE HOUSE STILL FEELS COLD?

You might be heating the street. 👀

Draughty windows, misted glass, cold spots around the house or a front door that’s seen better days can all be signs that it’s time to take a closer look.

And remember — replacing your windows and doors doesn’t have to mean doing the whole house.

🪟 One troublesome window? We can replace it.
🚪 One old door? We can replace that too.
🏠 Ready to do the full house? No problem.

At Plank Lane Joinery, we’re happy to help with jobs big or small.

🎄 We’re currently taking bookings for work to be completed in time for Christmas — so if there’s something you’ve been meaning to get sorted before winter really kicks in, now’s the time to get in touch.

STOP HEATING THE STREET.
KEEP THE COMFORT IN. 🏠

WE DON’T JUST DO THE BIG STUFF 👀

Yes, we build full conservatories.
Yes, we replace conservatory roofs.

But you don’t need a massive project to give PLJ a call.

Got ONE window that needs replacing? 🪟
We’ll do it.

Need ONE new front or back door? 🚪
We’ll do that too.

A misted, draughty or past-its-best window doesn’t suddenly require another 7 windows before we’re interested. 😂

From a single replacement window or door right through to full conservatories and conservatory roof replacements, PLJ are happy to help.

So if you’ve been putting off that “little job” because you thought it was too small for us…

It isn’t. 👍

No job has to be a huge one — we can help with:

A lot has changed since 1974… but we’re still here. 🔨

Back in 1974, a pint was about 20p, flares were fashionable, and nobody had ever heard the words “Wi-Fi password.”

Since then, we’ve had:

📼 VHS tapes come and go.
📱 Phones go from being attached to the wall to being attached to our hands.
🎵 Music go from vinyl to cassettes, CDs, MP3s and back to vinyl again.
👖 Flares disappear… and somehow come back.
🤖 And now apparently you can ask a computer to write your Facebook posts. Not that we’d know anything about that.

But one thing that hasn’t changed is Plank Lane Joinery.

We’ve been making, fitting and helping improve homes since 1974. The tools, products and styles might have moved on, but the pride we take in a job well done is still the same.

Over 50 years of experience, plenty of sawdust, and probably a few questionable hairstyles along the way.

Plank Lane Joinery — established 1974. Still going strong.
