Yesterday it was my real honour to send flowers to the funeral of Lizz, a true piece of our community who I feel very lucky to have met along my journey with my business. Her family were also a joy and although difficult reasons for meeting, I could feel all Liz’s love right in the room with us as we remembered her.
Liz was full of life and fun, she talked as much as me and we had some great chats at the shop. We met in sad circumstances when she asked me to do her beloved son’s sympathy flowers. After that though she’d rally me with words of encouragement and support regularly, in person and on the old socials. She even crocheted us a shop mascot, lovingly named Selena Growmez, who often gets a little pat on the head and the occasional cuddle when it’s just one of those days.
Picture 1. Liz’s stunning heart including Banda orchids, roses, carnations and akstromeria.
Picture 2. Selena Growmez, we said a little good bye and thank you to Liz together before the tribute left the shop.
Picture 3. Ben’s flowers that mirror his mothers whilst still both remaining completely individual to each of them.
Thank you Lizz, and your lovely family for giving me the gift to create a final tribute to you.
